Two Version of Justice 0
‘Probe Profiles’ on Wednesday focuses the spotlight on two of Philippine high society’s most controversial families and an unsolved murder case that has exposed and widened the rift between them.
The Quirino-Gonzalezes, descendants of President Elpidio Quirino, and the Delgados, scions of a business empire, open their lives to Cheche Lazaro as they present conflicting accounts of a crime that shocked the rich and famous: the murder of businessman Rico Delgado.
Lazaro follows the union of the two families from the romance between a widow and a widower, Doña Vicky Quirino-Gonzalez and Don Paco Delgado. She understands the friction between the two camps, escalating to the murder of Don Paco’s son, Rico, in 2007.
In interviews with Lazaro, both families cry injustice as the Delgados blame Rico’s death on Louie Gonzalez, his stepbrother, and as the Quirino-Gonzalezes raise questions about Louie’s imprisonment and non-release even as the Supreme Court has affirmed the dismissal of the case against him.
Watch this mind-boggling story of a mysterious murder and two families laying claim to their own versions of justice on September 2, Wednesday, after ‘Bandila’ on ABS-CBN. ‘Probe Profiles’ is replayed Fridays at 3 a.m. and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. on the ABS-CBN News Channel. The episodes may also be viewed for free on Probe’s official website, www.probetv.com.
