The 23rd Awit Awards turned out to be Gloc-9’s night as the critically-acclaimed rapper won five awards including the coveted “Song of The Year” for his hit single “Upuan.”
He is considered among the country’s most exceptional artists.
But not because he is the fastest rapper in the land –what with his extraordinary ability to spew 200 words a minute—but more so because of his innate ability to write songs that are as intelligent as they are socially-relevant.
