Sony Music Entertainment releases the soundtrack of the romantic comedy “Going The Distance” which stars Drew Barrymore and Justin Long. It features the song “If You Run” by The Boxer Rebellion where they also appeared.

It also includes The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven”, “Either Way” by Generationals, The Pretenders’ “Don´t Get Me Wrong”, “Places” by Georgie James, Katie Herzig’s “Hey Na Na”, ”In Transit”  by  Albert Hammond, Jr., Cat Power’s “Could We”,  “Cold Fame” by Band Of Skulls,  Eels’”Prizefighter”,  “The Reeling (Groove Police Remix)”  by Passion Pit, Fanfarlo’s “Harold T. Wilkins, Or How To Wair For A Very Long Time”,  “Here Comes A Regular”  by  The Replacements, Gotye’s “Learningalilgivinanlovin”, ” Half Of Something Else (Acoustic)” by The Airborne Toxic Event and another song by The Boxer Rebellion – “Spitting Fire”.

The movie is a story of Erin (Drew Barrymore), whose wry wit and unfiltered frankness charm newly single Garrett (Justin Long)over beer, bar trivia and breakfast the next morning. Their chemistry sparks a full-fledged summer fling, but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his job in New York City. But when six weeks of romping through the city inadvertently become meaningful, neither is sure they want it to end. And while Garrett´s friends, Box (Jason Sudeikis) and Dan (Charlie Day), joke about his pre-flight calorie-cutting and his full-time relationship with his cell phone, they don`t like losing their bset drinking buddy to yet another rocky romance. At the same time, Erin´s highstrung, overprotective married sister, Corrine (Christina Applegate), want to keep Erin from heading down all-too-familiar road.

But despite the opposite coasts, the nay-saying friends and family, and a few unexpected temptations, the couple just might have found something like love, and with the help of a lot of texting, exting and late-night phone calls, they might actually go the distance.
