The Devil Wears Prada top bills ETC’s A-List of movies

It’s time for a change this September. ETC A-List lines up a month of movies where change is on order every Sunday night at 9PM.

Date Movie on September 5 follows Julia Jones (Alyson Hannigan), an unhappy Jewish girl who is overweight and spends her days working at her dad’s diner. Things change when she meets Grant Fockyerdoder (Adam Campbell) and she realizes that she will need to transform her life around for her to get the guy of her dreams.

A change in perspective is on the books for Hal (Jack Black) a superficial man who only wants to date hot beautiful women. However one day after he is hypnotized he can only see the inner beauty of women. While under the hypnotic spell, Hal meets Rosemary (Gwyneth Paltrow) a grossly obese woman who because of his new perspective he believes to be stunning. After falling in love with Rosemary, his hypnotic state is broken by best friend Mauricio (Jason Alexander). Now that Hal sees Rosemary’s true self can his love for her inner beauty outweigh his superficial perspective? Find out on September 12 in Shallow Hal.

On September 19 join Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) in My Super Ex-Girlfriend who has a change of heart and ends things with girlfriend Jenny (Uma Thurman) when he falls for office mate Hannah (Anna Faris). Unfortunately for Matt, Jenny is a superhero named G-Girl who uses her powers to make his life a living hell.

ETC A-List’s Movie of the Month for September is the devilshly stylish The Devil Wears Prada on September 26. Get ready for hell on heels editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Meryll Streep), as one of the worlds most powerful figures in fashion she knows what she wants and demands that she gets it. Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway), an aspiring writer who takes the job of Miranda’s assistant knows that if she can survive one year she has a greater opportunity of securing a more serious journalist position. In order to keep up with Miranda’s demands Andrea must change herself and her life, but is this change for the better?
