A July Rollercoaster of Hilarious Comedy and Action-packed Adventure

Posted on July 15, 2010 by kankan

This July, Cartoon Network will bust the rainy day blues with a non-stop month of comedy and adventure, which will include the exciting premieres of Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, Metal Fight Beyblade and Rocket Jo, along with loads of awesome movies.

Kids can get all revved up with an interplanetary adventure like no other with Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 airing on weekends at 8:30 AM. It’s man versus aliens as the Earth’s best drivers, collectively known as Battle Force 5 go against evil alien warriors – The Vandals – barbaric beast-like creatures and – The Sark – sinister robot driving machines. With the help of alien super- vehicles, the team races through inter-dimensional realms to prevent the aliens from destroying the Earth.

The action doesn’t stop there as kids gear up for an epic battle between good and evil with Metal Fight Beyblade spicing up weekday nights at 7 PM this month. Young hero, Gingka and his group of loyal friends take on a dangerous group called the Dark Nebula, who are set on taking over the world and unleashing their evil. These villains have set their sights on Gingka, who is the only person that’s strong enough to stand in their way. The plot thickens as friends become enemies and enemies become allies. Everything starts and ends with the valiant hero as he struggles to find the strength to defend his world and the honor of Beyblade.

Moving on from out-of-this-world battles, adventurers should get ready to join Rocket Jo and his crazy antics, which will air between various Cartoon Network shows on weekdays of July. The inventor and adventurer-wannabe goes on a seemingly never-ending quest to get his Jet-Pack to work properly. Sadly every attempt fails as Rocket Jo finds hilarious new problems – explosions, technical failures, somersaults, and breakdowns.

In addition, kids should prepare to laugh, laugh and laugh some more as Cartoon Network Popcorn presents a lineup of comedic movies where size doesn’t matter as the brains always win over the big bad guys. From babies to a mouse and with a robot thrown in, these little folk can outsmart the big bad plans of any villain in the weekday afternoon movie lineup of Cartoon Network Popcorn Foiled. Catch Baby’s Day Out, Short Circuit 2, Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat, Baby Geniuses and Mouse Hunt from July 5 to 9 at 5 PM.

Cartoon Network has got some major Kung Fu fighting action on June 9 starting at 10 AM with marathon lessons in the art of animal martial arts with the premiere of Kung Fu Panda: The Secrets of the Furious Five and a marathon of selected Skunk Fu episodes in Cartoon Network’s Friday Kung Fu-athon! More martial art mayhem is also in store for kids with the premiere of Kung Fu Magoo.

Finally, kids can laugh their way through weekends with the antics of their favorite four-legged friends Garfield, Tom & Jerry and Courage the Cowardly Dog from 11 AM to 4 PM on the weekends of July 24 to August 1. To top off the laughter during Cartoon Network’s Paws & Claws weekend lineup, will be the movies Soccer Dog, Tom & Jerry: Blast-off to Mars, Soccer Dog: European Cup and Garfield.
