The Gaga Phenomenon continues
Last August 11, 2009, award-winning, avant-garde artist, top-selling, phenomenal, fashion icon of our time, Lady Gaga performed live at the Araneta Coliseum that marked the tipping point of a new dawn in pop culture that only Lady Gaga can infuse in the Philippines. Before the main event, Lady Gaga was given a gold award by her label MCA Music Inc. for the successful release of her album The Fame which houses the hit singles Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game, and her new hit Paparazzi. The album is also expected to reach platinum in a few weeks. Lady Gaga was quick to answer in all her interviews and yet each statement can pass for a slogan or a song title. When asked what’s next after her esteemed rapid climb to fame, Lady Gaga revealed the repackaged version of her album, The Fame which will be called The Fame Monster.
